Criminal Law MBE Practice Test Premium

This prep test gives you practice on the types of questions contained in the Multistate Bar Exam with respect to Criminal Law and Procedure. It is the usual multiple-choice format with four possible answers. You are to choose the best answer of the four. Unlike the official MBE, our prep test is not timed so that you may learn the material and not push yourself in such a way that you do not retain recall over the material. When you learn with a relaxed and well-rested mind, the ability to reason and conduct complex analyses is greatly improved, and your retention of material is increased over the long run. The Multistate Bar Examination, prepared and distributed by the National Conference of Bar Examiners (NCBE), is a six-hour test that consists of 200 multiple-choice questions. The test is broken down into two sessions of three hours each; during each session, 100 questions are administered. The questions deal with seven practice areas: Civil Procedure, Constitutional Law, Contracts, Criminal Law & Procedure, Evidence, Real Property, and Torts. Our mission is to help you improve your chances and get a positive outcome when you take the MBE! Of course, we can’t guarantee or give assurances on the results. But we take the mission seriously and we are constantly upgrading and improving our prep testing materials, just as the MBE is changing its own face on a regular basis. With respect to the criminal law and procedure questions on the MBE, approximately half of the questions deal with topics of constitutional protection of accused persons. This includes but is not limited to arrest, search and seizure, confessions, lineups, privilege against self-incrimination, right to counsel, fair trial, plea deals and appeals. The other half of the questions deal with such issues as the elements required for conviction of each criminal offense, the inchoate crimes, criminal responsibility, defenses to crime, actus reus and mens rea. As with the MBE, the purpose of the questions is to assess the extent to which you can apply fundamental legal principles and legal reasoning to analyze given fact patterns. One of the best learning features in the BPH program is the expanded use of the ‘explanation’ section. This feature allows you to deepen your experience with the problem and learn how the courts apply the legal principles to the facts. This expands your understanding of how the legal process works and prepares you better to confront the criminal law questions on the MBE.
