Day 2 is the Multistate Bar Exam (MBE), which is a 200-question multiple-choice exam where 100 questions are offered in the AM, and the rest is administered in the PM.

The MBE is weighted 1/2 (50%) and the written score is weighted 1/2 (50%), with the MEE and MPT scores scaled to the MBE (MEE 30% and the MPT 20%). The scores are combined to determine if a passing score of 272 was achieved.
Results are released in early April for the February exam and in early September for the July exam.
Applicants can transfer previous MBE scores from another jurisdiction if taken within 37 months of the date of the bar exam.
Attorneys licensed in reciprocal states may be eligible for reciprocity in Idaho. Attorneys who have practiced 5 of the 7 years preceding application are not required to take the MBE.
