What is Gender Discrimination?

Discrimination based on gender (or sex) is a common state and federal civil rights violation that takes many forms, including sexual harassment, gender discrimination, pregnancy discrimination, and unequal pay for the same work. While many rights are protected the law is evolving along with societal values and the rights of women are increasing at a rapid pace in various areas where equality and fairness are currently lacking.
