Anticipatory Breach

What is Anticipatory Breach?

This occurs when a party to a contract repudiates (reneges on) his/her obligations thereunder before fully performing those obligations. The other party is provided with certain remedies for breach of the contract between them when it becomes clear that repudiation of the agreement has occurred.
