What is Parol of Evidence Rule?
Where there is a signed contract, the terms of the contract cannot be altered by evidence of oral (parol) agreements purporting to change, explain or contradict the written document. The courts have fashioned exceptions to rule if the information is need to explain the terms of the contract.
