What is Model Rules of Professional Conduct?

An updated set of ethics rules for the legal profession, created and revised by the American Bar Association, that has been passed in most states with a function that is primarily disciplinary in nature. The authors intended to make a set of rules both comprehensible to the public and providing clear guidance to the practitioner.
