What is Safekeeping Property?

A lawyer shall hold the property of clients or third persons regarding a representation separate from the lawyer's own property. Funds shall be kept in a separate account. Other property shall be identified as such and appropriately safeguarded. The lawyer must keep complete records of such accounts and property for a period of [five years] after termination of the representation. Rule 1.15
