What is Expert Evidence?

The opinion of a qualified expert witness regarding certain scientific, technical or other specialized subject matter. Expert evidence may be admissible as evidence in court proceedings where there is an issue requiring special knowledge or expertise, and where the expert is prequalified by the court to testify.
