What is Joint Tenants with the Right of Survivorship?

Real Property owned by two or more persons with express language that the property is taken as joint tenants with the right of survivorship and not as tenants in common. Each owner owns an equal and undivided interest in the whole. When a joint owner dies, the property passes to the surviving joint tenant and does not go through the decedent's estate.
