What is Irreparable Harm?

A legal concept required to obtain an injunction which argues that the type of harm threatened cannot be corrected through monetary compensation alone. Examples, tearing down a structure, not enforcing an agreement to buy real estate, allowing a dangerous nuisance to continue to harm the plaintiff.
