The Nevada Bar Exam is a 3-day exam that consists of six one-hour essay questions prepared by the Board of Bar Examiners of the State Bar of Nevada, a Multi-State Bar Examination (MBE) and two 2-hour NPT examination questions prepared by the Board of Bar Examiners of the State of Nevada.
Agency and partnership; community property; conflict of laws; constitutional law; contracts; corporations; criminal law and procedure; persons and domestic relations; evidence; pleadings and practice under the Nevada Rules of Civil Procedure and the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure; real property; torts; remedies; Uniform Commercial Code (Articles 2 and 9); and wills, estates and trusts. Applicants should be prepared to answer questions that test knowledge of the Nevada Rules of Professional Conduct, the Model Code of Professional Responsibility, and leading federal and state case law.

MBE is weighted 1/3 and essays are weighted 2/3. The passing score in Nevada is scaled to 138 out of 200. Additionally, an applicant must have a total scaled score of 75 or higher on the MBE and a converted score of 75 or higher on at least three written essay questions.
Typically released 10-12 weeks after the exam.
Nevada does not accept MBE scores from other jurisdictions.
Nevada does not provide for admission on motion; examination is required of all applicants.
