MBE is weighted 1/3 and essays are weighted 2/3. The scores are combined to determine if an overall passing total scaled score of 75 was achieved. An applicant must have a total scaled score of 75 or higher and a converted score of 75 or higher on at least three written essay questions. This equates to a passing score of 140 on a 200-point scale.
Results are released in early May for the February exam and in early October for the July exam.
Nevada does not accept MBE scores from other jurisdictions.
Nevada does not provide for admission on motion; examination is required of all applicants.
