Results are released approximately 8-10 weeks after the bar exam.
Vermont accepts scaled MBE scores of 135 or higher from other jurisdictions, provided the exam was taken within the previous four administrations.
In order to be eligible for admission without taking the Vermont Bar Exam, the applicant must have engaged in the active practice of law for 5 of the 10 years (or reciprocal state’s time period if three years or more) immediately preceding the application.
