The Wyoming Bar Exam is a 2-day exam. Day 1 includes six 30-minute Multistate Essay Exam questions (MEE) and two 90-minute Multistate Performance Test questions (MPT). Day 2 is the Multistate Bar Exam (MBE), a 200-question, multiple-choice exam.
Administrative Law, Business Organizations, Civil Procedure, Commercial Paper, Domestic Relations, Mortgages, Oil & Gas, Sales, Secured Transactions, Trusts & Estates, Water Law, Contracts, Criminal Law and Procedure, Constitutional Law, Evidence, Real Property, and Torts.
A scaled score of 85 on the MPRE achieved within three years of passing the passing the Wyoming Essay Examination is required for admission by examination.

The MBE weighted 50%, the MEE weighted 30% and the MPT weighted 20%. A total scaled score of 270 is required.
Results are released 8-10 weeks after the bar exam.
Wyoming accepts scaled MBE scores of 130 or higher from other jurisdictions if achieved within three years of the present exam.
In order to be eligible for admission without taking the Wyoming Bar Exam, the applicant must be a member of a reciprocating state bar in good standing and have engaged in the active practice of law for 5 of the 7 years immediately preceding the application. The applicant must also be a graduate of an ABA accredited law school.
