The Delaware Bar Examination is two full days. Day 1 consists of 4 Delaware Essay Questions and the Multistate Performance Test (MPT). Day 2 consists of the Multistate Bar Examination (MBE).
Agency, Corporations, Limited Liability Companies (LLCs), Criminal Law (including Delaware Criminal Code), Equity, Partnerships, Procedure (State & Federal), Trusts, UCC, Wills, Contracts, Criminal Law and Procedure, Constitutional Law, Evidence, Real Property, and Torts.
A score of at least 85 on the MPRE within 4 years preceding, or by December 31 in the year after, passing the Delaware Bar Examination is required.

Learn about registration, testing policies, and more on our MPRE Registration Guide.MBE and written scores are scaled and weighted at 40% and 60% (the two MPT tasks make up 10% of the total score and the eight Delaware essay questions make up 50% of the total score), then combined to determine if the applicant has achieved the minimum passing score of 143 points.
In Delaware, you are also required to complete a clerkship of at least 12 weeks (under the supervision of a qualified DE attorney) for admission.
Delaware does not accept MBE scores from other jurisdictions.
Delaware does not provide for admission on motion; examination is required of all applicants.
