What is Contingency Agreement?

An agreement containing a contingency clause; an example is a contingency fee agreement for legal services that is popular in personal injury actions wherein the attorney gets no fee if she does not win the case and obtain a monetary recovery for the personal injury client. If the attorney wins the case, the fee is computed on the percentage in the contract, such as one-third of the full amount of the recovery.
